So you want more tick marks?
I checked ?panel.pairs but could not find an option for that.
What about the pscales argument? A single number would increase the number of ticks, or a list with "at" and "labels" values can be passed. Seem to be just what you asked for. -- David Winsemius, MD West Hartford, CT
