R.dll
Hi, Is there any docs on R.dll? Or is it "use the source Luke" time? (The NT 0.63.1) Can anyone give me pointers on where to look? I am trying to wrap it under a GUI. The bdr release has examples, but it seems to be limited in scope. Has anyone compiled R under VC++. I see that the older version has been compiled under VC++ at some point. Is this best place to start to see how to get the new 0.63.1 compiled? I hope that I am not bugging anyone by restating and expanding on these two questions, which I asked to some extent before. I am still just getting familiar with R organization after installing it two weeks ago. BTW: Thanks much to marcusd at cathcart.sysc.pdx.edu and Ben about their help on HDF. ************************************************************** S. I didn't realize this at first, and got parse errors until I looked inside one of the other libraries. 2) "The code files to be installed must start with a (lower- or uppercase) letter and have one of the extensions `.R', `.S', `.q', `.r', or `.s'. " In fact, they don't have to have any extension, and the libraries supplied don't seem to have any either. Am I missing something or is this an historical artifact? If it's appropriate to modify these, I'll be happy to submit an edited .Rd file.
