What kind of 3D plotting?
If you mean 3D scatterplot, Uwe Ligges has a packge which can be
downloaded from http://www.statistik.uni-dortmund.de/leute/ligges.htm

If you mean contour or perspective 3D drawing, have a look at
help(persp), or:

This is all I can suggest from your description, since I'm not quite
sure as to what "kind" of 3D plotting you are talking about, if you know
what I mean...
