It should include Rd.sty automatically. The problem is that the file RHOME/doc/manual/Rd.sty is missing from the binary distribution. If you put it there this should work without any files in the bin directory.

Apologies: of course I have never checked the final distribution, and
this
works on a source build. I wondered if anyone would ever use this, so am actually pleased to find a bug report!
For me, it's a cool feature: I use the standard help file when I know what I want to do, but I don't remember that !?$ù* option I need. But, to learn the details of a new (for me) command I prefer the visually pleasant and typographically elegant (yes, I print sometimes...) pdf files produced by pdflatex with this new feature (and so I can appreciate the hard work of the R team in the developpement of the R help file format...)
BTW, using PDF format for help files is one of the ideas under debate. Another is to provide Windows-style help files.
