Thanks a lot, it's really kind of you!
I figured out how to increase the horizontal spacing, it acutally works for
my data.
I just set the "interval" parameter on the number of replicates per group
(or generally a lower number than the default 50), and then I modify the
offset setting.
It separates the dots quite well.
