3D graphics

Hi 
 I have a large data set that consists of a time series of data captured from a device that has three dimensions. I'd like to plot the data such that I have a time series of a point, say, in 3 space. So far the documentation I've seen on 3d graphics (wireframes, topos, etc) don't seem to be appropriate for what I'd like to do. Any suggestions?
