Question about package installation
I don't really know about the second half of your email, but are you sure you don't just need to reload the packages with the library() command rather than reinstalling them? It's also to set up autoload: google Rprofile for instructions. Michael

I leave R and come back another time and the installed packages are not installed. So I do it again. Not a big deal, but is there anyway to make the installation permanent?
