Subject: 2D kernel density estimation in non-contiguous space
Dear all,
is there in R a function to run 2D kernel density estimation (similar to e.g. 'kde2d()') in a space that is split internally?
I think about a store floor space - basically a rectangle but divided by shelves etc. into "alleys". The "points" are people in the store and I would like to display where people pass more/less frequently.
Many thanks!
