compiling R for SGI IRIX
When I attempt to compile R, I immediately get the error: 'make: file `Makefile' line 49: bad character & (octal 46) *** Error code 1 (bu21)' I have looked at line 49 of each of the makefiles and none of them seem to contain this character. Any suggestions?
