Feature request in setting GUI to SDI mode?

R looks for Rconsole in $HOME as well. I don't like to cluster $HOME with
visible files, so I was wondering if R could also look for

	$HOME/.Rconsole

to hide Rconsole in $HOME. That would be the best of both worlds.
