Subject: thanks for sample() suggestion
Thanks to all who suggested the sample() function; it was very easy to
use:
Usman Shehu, Prof. Brian Ripley, gb (goran), Tom Richards, Chuck Cleland,
Denis White, Karl Broman, and Erin Hodgess. Also thanks to Prof. Ripley
for suggestions of general R code to reach the same end.
