Can neither find or create RInterpreter.DLL

Ok, I downloaded the source of R1.5.1 and run the script: $ sh configure --enable-shared uname: not found chmod: not found configure: error: cannot create configure.lineno; rerun with a POSIX shell $ Although this error occurred, make runs fine and creates Rgui.EXE, R.DLL.... but no RInterpreter.DLL.
If configure failed, chances are that you ran make with a default configuration (without --enable-shared), so my guess is that you need to get that step to work. Since it cannot find a couple of key commands, you might need to set your PATH variable correctly.
