Concat two rows
have a look at function paste(), e.g.,
Dat <- data.frame(A = c("aaa", "bbb", "ccc", "ddd"),
B = c(111, 222, 333, 444))
Dat$C <- paste(Dat$A, Dat$B, sep = ".")
Dat
