integrate?

Dear all,

I am a R newbie and desperately looking for the "integrate" function?

At
http://www.stat.math.ethz.ch/R/manual/library/base/html/integrate.html
there is a detailed reference, but it seems as if it were NOT include in
{base}.
Are there similar (newer) functions to make a quick integration?

It *is* in base, in the current version of R, 1.3.0.
