Error: object 'short' not found

HI,

I am trying to run this code 

pdf(file="Biology_2012_GOF.pdf", width=8.5, height=4.5)
   grid.draw(my.sgpd$Goodness_of_Fit$Biology_2012$Q1_Q2)
dev.off()
 I get an error mesage "object not found"- can someone please help?
