Subsetting from data.frame

Hi,

attach(data)

if (TREUE[TREUE ==11] && EMPFEHL[EMPFEHL < 11])
{ TREUE <- EMPFEHL }

what's wrong ( TREUE ==EMPFEHL works not,too )?
