You could take a look at ?identify3d You should probably also read https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/rgl/vignettes/rgl.html Beyond that, if it's difficult to see what you're looking for, maybe you should rethink your approach. Sarah

Thank you for the help. Is there a way to remove the text from the plot as well. I am finding it difficult to see what I am looking for with the text in the way. It would be useful to be able to identify a point and then clear the text. Can that be done while still maintaining the orientation of the plot? LMH
