It's probably a Perl installation problem. The rest of that message will
tell you what @INC is, and check that File/Basename.pm is there,
in something like
/mnt/usr/local/lib/Perl5/5.00502/File
and that /usr/local/lib/Perl5/5.00502 is in @INC
It is probably worth upgrading to Perl 5.6.1.
