Rwinst.exe problems

I get the same problem using rwinst.exe 1.2.0 with NT 4 (if I click on "an
add on package" it falls over with an access violation). 

rwinst.exe uses most of the standard system dlls, plus msvcrt.dll.
pedump will show you exactly. But I suspect the problem is more
prosaic, in that you have an exceptionally long (or in some other way 
unusual) PATH.

- This seems to be right. If I reduce my path to a single line then
everything works just fine. If I use the version 1.1.0 rwinst.exe then
everything seems to work also. 

- The original path isn't hugely long, though: 

PATH=C:\WINNT\system32;C:\WINNT;C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual
Studio\Common\Tools\WinNT;C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual
Studio\Common\MSDev98\Bin;C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\

... is what "caused" a failure. Is that long enough that it should have
overwritten it's allocated space?

PATH=c:\WINNT\system32;C:\WINNT

... is what worked.
