1.0.1 for SuSE 6.3

One possibility is that you FTP'ed it in ASCII mode instead of binary.

I tried to install the rpm on a SuSE 6.2 system a few days ago and got
the same error message, so I installed it from source.
There really seems to be an error with the rpm.
