That proves very little. My PRNN book had 30 copies on sale at NIPS in November 1995, but was not officially published until 1996. Advance copies are often available weeks before the warehouses have them. www.springer-ny.com does say both ISwR and MASS4 are published and in stock, which it did not a week ago.
At least they should have the stock of copies that didn't get sold at the JSM... ;-) Certain proof of shipping would seem to be when the authors receive their free copies (except for the first one which they FedEx ASAP).
