Actually I found one tiny problem.   If you ask which Windows version
you are using when running under Windows 8 it tells you that you are
using Windows 7 :

R.version.string

[1] "R version 2.15.2 Patched (2013-01-13 r61650)"

win.version() ## Should be Windows 8

[1] "Windows 7 x64 (build 9200)"
