how to create a sequence to consecutive values
Using ?rle
z <- rle(a) v <- z$values v[v==1] <- seq_along(v[v==1]) ## or use cumsum

consecutive values of 1:

I should get as result
(0,0,0,1,1,1,1,0,0,0,0,2,2,0,3,3,3,0,0)
I tried with ave, but no way to get it for me.
