Subject: Saving a Stata file with labels that are not just a copy of the variable name
Hi
I am trying to export dataframes to Stata with stata's labels, I have looked though the documentation for the foreign library and code for write.dta, (but not the complied code) and I can't find anything. Ideally what I want is something like write.dta(myDataFrame, labels = listOfLabels, file = "myFile.dta" ) am I missing something or is this not an option in foreign? Are there other libraries which will save stata files with labels?
Cheers,
Rhydwyn
