Memory and segmentation faults

If ?Memory fails, your version of R is broken.  That is where the advice is
(and generally it is to leave well alone unless you need to limit the
memory usage or you are on Windows).  So you need to correct your
installation of R, it seems.

After the segfault, I restarted R and had some strange behaviour
(i.e., could not find anything for ?Memory). I've restarted the
machine and it seems to work. 

I'm pretty sure the segfaults are due to my machine. I'm
geting another one sometime (hopefully) soon. If the same behaviour
goes on with the new machine, I'll fill the bug report.
