Odp: Multiple plots in one subplot

Hi, I making a figure with six sub-plots using par(mfcol=c(2,3)). In the
last
sub-plot I want to have two graphs instead of one. I have tried using par(fig=x,y,z,v) but this par seems to overwrite the first par. Is there
a
simple solution?
You can try ?layout or grid graphic. This gives you powerfull functionality but it probably is not so simple as par. Regards Petr
