How to read a *.csv file in R?
If that is a text file I'd guess that the seperator is a tab. I don's see why you used NULL as R should just read in the file with NA's for empty values. You might want to try : heisenberg <- read.csv(file="comprice.csv",head=TRUE,sep="\t") John Kane Kingston ON Canada

Error in read.table(file = file, header = header, sep = sep, quote = quote, : duplicate 'row.names' are not allowed However, my row names are not duplicated. When I try:
heisenberg <- read.csv(file="comprice.csv",head=TRUE,sep=",")
Error in read.table(file = file, header = header, sep = sep, quote = quote, : more columns than column names I have saved the file with excel under *.csv(MSDOS). How to read this file?
