Dear helpers, I'm working with expression matrices (DNA microarrays) and my professor suggested me to investigate the possibilities of Xgobi. Searching the net I found that I could use it with R. Is that true? How can I do this? I'm working on a Windows ME notebook. I've already got xgobi.zip from CRAN and xgobi.zip from Professor Brian Ripley (http://www.stats.ox.ac.uk/pub/SWin/) but I don't know how to install it. I read Peter Ho's e-mail to R-help but I still got problems. Could you help me? What kind of problems? If you unzip xgobi.zip from Prof. Ripley's page, into say C:\xgobi, then open the README file in C:\xgobi it has a very detailed explanation on how to set up and get it working. You will however need an X server.
