Well, I don't know what function is implemented in Maple under this name, but have a look at help(Hypergeometric) for the hypergeometric distribution function. In library SuppDists there is the generalized hypergeometric distribution. Winfried

Hypergemoteric function is a special function of mathematical physics that arises as the solution to a partial differential equation. It is NOT the same as the hypergeometric probability distribution. I have an SPlus/R implementation which uses a Fortran DLL. Let me know if you need this.
