I don't understand your question. "PLEASE do read the posting guide! http://www.R-project.org/posting-guide.html". In particular, have you read the "R Data Import / Export" documentation that some with R [available, from "www.r-project.org" -> Manuals or R -> help.start()]? Have you tried "read.spss" in library(foreign)? [help(package="foreign") provides additional documentation.] If you've tried all these without satisfaction, please explain what you've tried, the error message, the version of R, operating system, etc., as requested in the posting guide. hope this helps. spencer graves
