Hello,

Is there any way we convert SAS dataset into R dataset?

Kindest Regards,

In the contrib/Devel section on CRAN is foreign_0.1-3.tar.gz which has
some stuff on reading SAS XPORT files and Minitab too.

As far as I gathered, this was intended for a major conversion task
which never came off, so the code still has some rough edges.

There is the "foreign" library in the developmental section of
www.r-project.org. Unfortunately I have not had time to try
library but it supports SAS datasets as far as I've read.

I've been quite successful with a combination of "PROC EXPORT" in
SAS (> V7) and "read.csv" in R. Pretty seamless for the data with which
I've been working.
