Hello, I am running DAISY in R and using the GOWER metric since I am working with mixed variables. I am wondering if there is a way to weight the different variables. I see that there is a weight value for Gower but do not know if this is how to weight the diffrent variables with different weighting values. Please advise if there is a way to weight the different variables. Thank you. -- View this message in context: http://r.789695.n4.nabble.com/weighting-variables-using-Gower-with-DAISY-tp4646243.html Sent from the R help mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

That is the way I read the help file for function daisy() in package cluster, but you might want to contact the package maintainer with your question: Martin Maechler <maechler at stat.math.ethz.ch> ---------------------------------------------- David L Carlson Associate Professor of Anthropology Texas A&M University College Station, TX 77843-4352
