Hi Silly question maybe, but I am only a novice. How do I make the background of contourplot white? I have tried bg, canvas, and all other possible option suggested under par and xyplot. But nothing seems to work. Since my plot is of data in x-y space maybe I could use another function (i.e. contour), but than x and y should be ordered and I haven't figured out how to do that yet. Any suggestions? Willem
