Hi there!
I have following problem: I created some graphics with "win.metafile", which
I wanted to use in a Powerpoint presentation, but when I paste them into
Powerpoint the graphics are missing the axes. It looks like the axes are cut
off and I was wondering, if somebody know this problem and how to solve
this??
Thanks for your help! :)
win.metafile("example.wmf", width=7, height=5)
plot(1:10)
dev.off()

Having relatively recently "updated" my Windows and Mac versions of Powerpoint, my guess is that the PPT default clipping is what you are experiencing and you need to learn how to shrink the full image into the display window. Try looking at the file with another viewer. I'll be it is all there.

Thanks for your answer. You're right, when I'm looking at the files with IrfanView everything is ok.
you need to learn how to shrink the full image into the display window.
guess, that's what I'm lacking... I tried to make the graphics smaller in R, but it doesn't have any effect, when I paste them in Powerpoint the axes are still missing. So it's probably a problem of Powerpoint, but I don't get what's going on... Regards, Karoline -------- Original-Nachricht --------
