Does anybody know if a script for Support Vector Machines (SVM)
exist?

I would like to apply it to R-stat.

We have svm support (both classification and regression) ready, it
will be in the new e1071 package that will be released together with R
1.2 (svm uses the C++ support from 1.2).

I'll put a snapshot version into the Devel section of CRAN later
today.

Best,
Fritz
