How to make all elements all elements lower-cap ?

I have a vector of letters like c("a", "B", "c"). Is there any R function to
force all elements to lower-cap ?

try this:
x <- c("a", "B", "c")
?tolower
tolower(x)
[1] "a" "b" "c"
