Hello - I'm trying to compile R 1.7.0 on a PowerBook running OS X 10.2.5. I've compiled R (1.6.2) successfully before on this machine, under either 10.2.3 or 10.2.4. My gcc is from the latest Apple Developer Tools release and the g77 is up-to-date via Fink. R passes ./configure just fine, with the following options: R is now configured for powerpc-apple-darwin6.5 Source directory: .
