hello everybody I'm currently doing an internship where i need to build a pipeline between a database and R, programmed in python. For the interface between python and R i installed the RPY package. but i still can't make a connection with R because on the mac os x system i can't install R with a shared library. does anybody know how to solve this problem ? thanks in advance richard

I think you will need to build R from source. The r-sig-mac email list would be a better place for this type of question. + seth
