As seems to be the way with good software projects, tools from R seem to fall into my hands at just the moment I need them. I'm very impressed, and very grateful. Just wanted to give a quick congratulations to those in R Core who worked so hard to get date/time handling in 1.3 to the slick, elegant state it's in. This is *not* an easy thing to do ever, never mind in the generality, completeness, and beauty that has been done here. Impressed. Cheers Jason
