Hi Does someone knows if there's a function/package that can make thin plate splines ? I've looked in mgcv and splines but I haven't found anything. Without bothering to double-check, I think the "funfits" package in the "Devel" subdirectory may (??) do thin-plate splines. Ben Bolker

Hi The funfits does the thin plate splines but I wasn't able to install it under R 1.2.2 it gives an error compiling the spreg.f file.
