Are there any templates for .Renviron files. My installation of R did not
have one and I am curious about how other users make use of it. It is
mentioned in Appendix B.2 of the manual.

Thanks,
Anne York

Mine has

R_LIBS=c:/R/library

Under Windows one has a richesse of where to set such things. I tend to set
environmental variables on the command line for different projects,
but things I use across versions of R (I have at least three in use, now
1.2.1, 1.2.1-patched, pre-1.3.0) in %HOME%\.Renviron.
