Bonjour, Je me joins ? tous pour vous f?licit? pour votre excellent travail. Bravo! Most sincere congratulations. I don't have RODBC but I may have something of interest. It's an ActiveX component (DLL) that I use for data access on any ODBC compliant Database. The problem I can see is that there is no way AFAIK to use it from a R script but it can be used from application that are ActiveX aware. May be I could work with others to find a solution to that? Firstly can I add my congradulations to the R core team on the release of v1.0.0 and my thanks for all their hard work. To the subject of this message: does anyone have a binary version of Michael Lapsley's RODBC package built for win32 that they can distribute? I have a solution where I can use Perl ODBC functions to dump data to a text file for reading in to R, but I think the direct ODBC call from R would be a cleaner way of working.
