Question about license for redistribution of R package

If you wrote all of it and are distributing only what you wrote, you can license it any way you like. If you are distributing a copy of R with it then you need to follow R's license: see COPYING. If you license everything under a license compatiable with R's GPL license, then you are probably fine. If you want to distribute some parts under an incompatible license, you should check with a lawyer. Duncan Murdoch
