Has anyone had trouble installing the package "ROpenOffice" from omegahat: http://www.omegahat.org/ROpenOffice/ I downloaded the .tar.gz file to my local hard drive and tried to install it with the following code, but got an error message:
install.packages("/Users/earlbrown/Desktop/ROpenOffice_0.4-0.tar.gz", repos = NULL, type = "source")

So, I tried to install the package "Rcompression" first, but got another error message:
install.packages("Rcompression")
