Dear Kenneth I'm working on a geostatistics package which should be a complement to "sgeostats" and "spatial". I'm calling this "geoR" (and "geoS") and there are some methods implemented which are usually not avaiable in most of geostatistical software: ML and REML, profile likelihood plots and Bayesian inference. Some other standard procedures like OK, KTE etc are also implemented. The Kernel variogram estimation is available as well as many covariance models apart from the 3 conventional ones. This is pretty much working in progress, I'm just starting writing the documentation but is already available at: www.maths.lancs.ac.uk/~ribeiro/geoS.html Hopefully, soon I'll be submiting it to CRAN Comments/suggestions will be very much appreciated.
