Please don't both ask the author directly *and* post to a forum. The answer is the same as the one I sent you directly. - For what do you want CIs, and why? The fits/predictions are probabilities, and CIs for probabilities are rarely useful. - You can do this by simulation, and simulate() has a polr method.
