Hello, Is anyone out there doing nested anovas? I'm familiar with the notation to designate the nesting in SAS but can't seem to find any for R. How can I specify the nesting levels? Nested anovas

Did you try "http://www.r-project.org/" -> Search -> R Site Search? I entered variants of "nest" and "formula for nested model" and got many hits, some of which mentioned "|". I have not done that for a while, but I'm confident that some variant of this will work. hth. spencer graves
