R and Solaris

hello,
i want to  install  R with Solaris but i have a problem with the make
(fatal error).
Did they have a solution for Solaris?

It works for me.  I think we need to know more about the errors.

The pre-release tests include using

gmake/gcc/g77
gmake/gcc/f77
make/cc/f95
make/cc/f95 in 64-bit mode

on Solaris 2.7 aka 7.

You have to be more specific:
Version of R (we assume R-1.4.1), version of Solaris, version of your
compiler, ......

For me everything works fine on Solaris 2.7, R-1.4.1 with:

./configure
make
