[R-pkg-devel] Configure dot win file preventing compilation for i386 on windows

It sounds as though you (and WinBuilder) are skipping the "--force-biarch" command line option in "R CMD install". I suspect the reason it isn't the default is that it's hard to get right for both architectures. I don't know how you would ask WinBuilder to use it for you. Duncan Murdoch
