For the Debian packages I am trying to get all maintainers to rebuild their
packages. I can't speak for Ubuntu but it may require waiting for the next
release or switching to local packages.

Notice, though, that this is just a warning. The help() system may be
affected, but functionality of the package should not be affected.

Rainer,

Can you be more specific as to which packages and on which platform?
Not all packages need recompilation and I don't keep track those who
do and those who don't.

Thanks,
